About the Commercial Roof Coating Process

For commercial long run roofing, ARC roof coating is installed in four stages. We seal internal gutters using our ARC Pro Liquid Membrane Coating to provide a complete waterproof solution. Our comprehensive process ensures that your roof will be restored to the highest level and be waterproof and weathertight.

Our coating process is completed within 4 days

Our roof coating service is typically completed between two to four days — dependent on the scope of the job and the weather.

Stage 1: Clean

Commercial roofs are waterblasted to remove all dirt and loose and flaking material.

If moss and mould is present, the roof will be treated with ARC Roof Cleaner, a slow release, biodegradable, antifungicide treatment.

Stage 2: Prep and repair

All loose nails will be removed and refixed with screws. All ridges, valleys, and flashings will be checked and repaired or replaced as required.

Stage 3: Treat and seal

Any areas of red or white rust will be treated with a rust converter or anti-corrosive primer to prevent any further rusting and degradation.

Internal gutters are sealed with ARC Pro Liquid Membrane Roof Coating.

Stage 4: Coat

Once the roof is clean and appropriately treated, ARC Liquid Membrane Roof Coat will be applied in your chosen colour.

This final step completely seals the roof with a waterproof membrane to protect it for many years to come. Our Product Warranty is 10 years, however, we expect the coating to last well beyond this period.
